ROLE Summary
Become a part of the excitement at LEGOLAND Florida Resort as a Resort Operations Host - Attractions! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our thrilling rides and attractions. You'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.
Key responsibilities
Zonal Operation:
- You will work in a specific zone within the resort, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest service while promoting company values.
- After training and clearance, you will maintain attraction efficiency to minimize queue times and maximize throughput, delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure the safety of guests by enforcing attraction rules and restrictions, such as height and weight requirements. Provide clear instructions to guests about safety procedures.
- Assist guests in entering and exiting attractions, ensuring they are properly secured before the ride starts. Address any concerns or questions guests may have and provide a positive experience.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures in case of an accident or malfunction. Know how to handle situations correctly and where to find emergency equipment.
- Performs opening and closing routines as defined by the operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other operators, supervisors, and resort employees to ensure smooth operations. Follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Liaison leadership team to resolve any resort wide guest issues.
Health & Safety:
- Maintaining health and safety protocols, handling incidents or accidents, and suggesting safety improvements.
- Work effectively in busy environments with high noise levels. Work effectively under pressure in situations such as ride breakdowns or upset guests. Maintain a high level of focus to ensure safe operation.
Work Environment, Physical DEMANDS
- Various indoor, outdoor, and enclosed locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
- Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- Intermittent and prolonged sitting, standing, and walking to move about the resort and interact with guests.
- Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials, to complete paperwork activities, and to properly complete safety procedures.
- Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and via device.
