Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a guest-first culture using data to understand and meet guest needs; drive innovation, pre-empt opportunities, mitigate risks, and adapt quickly.

  • Ensure a robust marketing and channel strategy, safeguarding the brand in all PR/marketing activity, delivering tactical marketing plans, and targeting new markets and audiences.

  • Activate Midway levers, optimize RPC and yield, and drive volume strategy to grow revenue and maintain competitive market share.

  • Deliver capital projects on time, within budget, and aligned with ROIC; achieve sustainable EBITDA growth, 5-year and cost control plans, and productivity targets.

  • Lead Profit & Loss (P&L) management with a focus on channel strategy, agility, and responsiveness to market conditions.

  • Inspire high-performance, customer-centric teams by role-modeling guest-facing behaviors, building external partnerships, and creating networks.

  • Drive employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning while ensuring DEI&A, wellbeing, and CSR targets are met.

  • Execute HR and talent processes, manage staffing levels, and ensure compliance with employment policies, HR guidance, and Merlin standards.

  • Ensure operational excellence with a safe, efficient, and low-risk environment, including profit protection, business continuity, and crisis/risk management.

  • Build business analytics and customer insight capabilities to inform decisions; understand motivators and purchase paths across diverse markets and business growth stages.

  • Lead teams across areas of expertise in a matrixed environment; be a visible, values-led leader and brand ambassador internally and externally.

  • Implement Merlin best practices, deliver on the Merlin Group strategic agenda, and execute change programs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve within the role’s scope and grading.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or marketing (preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial role within a high visitor volume environment.

  • Proven track record of achieving EBITDA targets for at least 2 years.

  • Experience working with children and families is a plus.

  • Results-driven with strong business acumen and financial savvy.

  • Energetic, resilient, and action-oriented with a “make it happen” mindset.

  • Creative, charismatic, and able to inspire innovation and excitement.

  • Adaptable, flexible, and thrives in dynamic environments.

  • Operates with integrity, purpose, and strong relationship-building skills.

Pay Range

From USD $140,000.00/Yr.
