As a Guest Experience Supervisor, you'll be the magical force behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly while supervising an amazing team of Shift Leads, Puddle Jumpers, and Guest Experience Hosts. From maximizing visitor satisfaction and sales to creating the most memorable experiences for our guests, this role is all about leading with passion and enthusiasm! π

What You’ll Do: π’ Lead with Energy:
Supervise and guide the team to provide a fun, efficient, and magical experience for all guests! You'll be the go-to person for Admissions, Retail, Food & Beverage, and the queues. Ensure the attraction is always running smoothly, and the team is motivated and happy. π
π Boost Sales & Guest Engagement:
Help us exceed our sales targets with your amazing product knowledge and strategic planning skills. Use your expertise to up-sell and engage guests in a way that maximizes spends and leaves everyone with a smile. π
π― Staff Development & Training:
Lead the charge in training and developing our team in areas like customer care, cash handling, safety procedures, and more. You'll coach, motivate, and ensure everyone is ready to deliver excellent service. ππ
π Health, Safety & Cleanliness:
Make sure our environment is safe, clean, and magical for both guests and employees! You'll monitor health and safety standards, perform minor fixes, and even step in as a Fire Marshal or First Aider when needed. π οΈπ₯
π Recruitment & Team Building:
Assist in recruiting new talent, conducting interviews, and training new team members. Create an environment of fun, professionalism, and collaboration, ensuring everyone embodies the Merlin Way. πΌπ«
Your Main Responsibilities:
π Operations Management:
Lead daily operations in Admissions, Retail, and Food & Beverage areas. β
Develop and execute strategies to boost sales and exceed budget targets. πΈ
Assist with ticketing, promotional lines, and guest inquiries. ποΈ
π§π« Training & Staff Performance:
Lead staff training in essential procedures and safety protocols. π©π«
Regularly evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to keep everyone on track. π±
πΌ Health & Safety:
Ensure the attraction meets health & safety standards at all times. π§΄π¨
Act as a First Aider or Fire Marshal when needed. π₯π©βοΈ
π¦ Retail & Inventory Management:
Track product inventories, order supplies, and keep stockrooms tidy and organized. ποΈπ¦
π° Finance & Cash Handling:
Oversee cash handling procedures, nightly financial reporting, and deposit management. π³π°
