Merlin Entertainments is on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Director to lead the charge in driving consumer demand, enhancing guest experiences, and achieving revenue targets for our world-class attractions in New York. As the Marketing Director, you will:

  • Lead a talented team to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that captivate audiences and drive commercial success.

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, working closely with cross-functional teams, including E-Commerce & Digital Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Brand, Content, Partnerships, and Commercial.

  • Champion a data-driven approach, leveraging insights to optimise marketing strategies and enhance guest engagement.

  • Work in a dynamic matrix structure, balancing global brand priorities with local market needs.

  • Be a key business partner to operational leaders, ensuring marketing strategies align with overall business objectives.

  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring ROI-driven decision-making across all marketing initiatives.

 

This position can be based anywhere in the Greater NY area and will involve travel to both LEGOLAND NY and Madame Tussauds New York.

 

Qualifications & Experience

✅ 10+ years’ experience in senior marketing roles (entertainment, hospitality, tourism, or retail preferred).
✅ Proven success leading high-impact marketing campaigns, with a strong digital focus.
✅ Expertise in stakeholder management, working across regional and global teams.
✅ Data-driven mindset, using analytics to inform strategy and measure performance.
✅ Exceptional leadership & team development skills to inspire and motivate.
✅ Budget management experience, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
✅ Passion for entertainment & tourism, with a customer-first approach.

Pay Range

Compensation between USD $165,000.00/Yr.-USD $185,000.00/Yr.
