About the Role


Merlin Entertainments is on the lookout for an Ecommerce Director (US) to drive our digital revolution! You’ll take charge of the US ecommerce strategy across platforms, from websites and apps to booking systems and hotels. Your mission? Turbocharge revenue growth, elevate the online customer experience, and run day-to-day trading operations like a pro. Collaborate with senior leaders, push performance boundaries, and create a world-class online experience for millions of guests.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Strategy: Lead ecommerce for the US, boosting revenue across ticket sales, hotels, and digital platforms.
  • Drive Performance: Own trading operations, set KPIs, and maximise sales with killer campaigns and promotions.
  • Lead Insight: Dive into ecommerce data, present insights to senior leadership, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Enhance Experience: Improve user experience and conversion rates through innovative CRO and creative strategies.
  • Lead Innovation: Champion digital transformation, ensuring Merlin stays ahead in a competitive market.
  • Inspire Teams: Lead a dynamic team, cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8-10 years in digital marketing, CRO, or user experience, with 4-5 years in leadership.
  • A proven track record in boosting conversion rates, preferably in entertainment, travel, or hospitality.
  • Expert in budget management, A/B testing, and CRO tools (Optimizely, VWO, Google Analytics).
  • A natural leader who thrives in cross-functional teams and drives results.
