Now, we’re looking for a visionary Ecommerce Director to shape and lead our digital future in North America.
As the Ecommerce Director, North America, you’ll define and lead the regional ecommerce strategy across all of Merlin’s NA digital platforms—including websites, booking systems, apps, and hotels. You’ll be at the forefront of driving revenue growth by enhancing the online customer journey, optimizing trading performance, and delivering a best-in-class digital experience.
This role will collaborate closely with senior leaders in operations, marketing, revenue management, and digital strategy, playing a pivotal role in delivering commercial excellence and continuous digital innovation.
Strategic Leadership: Own and execute a bold ecommerce strategy across North America, driving growth across ticketing, hotel bookings, and product offerings.
Commercial Trading: Establish data-driven ecommerce trading frameworks, set KPIs, and maximize sales through high-impact campaigns, promotions, and price optimization.
Performance Excellence: Lead weekly performance reviews with senior leadership, delivering actionable insights and optimizations to accelerate growth.
Customer-Centric Design: Enhance the digital customer experience, focusing on high-converting, seamless, and engaging user journeys.
CRO & Testing: Build a robust conversion rate optimization program in partnership with global leads—run tests, learn, iterate, and win.
Digital Transformation: Drive the delivery of a new integrated booking journey with the Digital & Data team, keeping the guest experience front and center.
Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize the ecommerce budget with a strong focus on ROI, while cultivating productive relationships with key partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with content, digital marketing, and regional teams to tailor strategies to local markets and consumer behavior.
Innovation & Growth: Be a digital trailblazer—stay ahead of trends and bring fresh, bold ideas to the table to keep our ecommerce platforms ahead of the curve.

Global Marketing: To bring omni-channel campaigns to life across our platforms.
Content & Digital Teams: To align messaging, performance goals, and UX strategy.
Revenue Management: To deliver dynamic pricing and promotion calendars.
Digital & Data: To shape future technology needs based on performance and guest behavior.
10+ years’ experience in digital marketing or ecommerce, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
Proven success driving revenue through digital platforms—experience in travel, entertainment, or hospitality is a plus.
Expert in data analytics, CRO, and digital performance tools (Google Analytics, Optimizely, VWO, Hotjar, etc.).
Strong budget and performance management capabilities.
Passionate about user experience, digital innovation, and customer-centric design.
Strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and a natural collaborator across functions.
