Qualifications & Experience

Scope of the Role:

As a Retail Team Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of LEGOLAND Discovery Centers operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management of our retail areas. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and focus on maximizing Per Cap spends and Average Transaction Values. ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ’ต You’ll be the guiding force that ensures we’re delivering world-class experiences to guests and driving the performance of our retail team!

 

What You’ll Do:

๐Ÿ’ซ Lead by Example:

  • Be the ultimate example of excellence on the floor! Inspire your team to provide exceptional service and meet/exceed KPI and Mystery Visit targets.
  • Deliver world-class guest experiences with a smile, every single time. ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿซ Train & Support Your Team:

  • Deliver initial and ongoing training to ensure the Retail Team is equipped for success.
  • Support in hiring, onboarding, and nurturing growth through Personal Development Plans and regular feedback. ๐ŸŽฏ

๐Ÿ“ˆ Maximize Sales & Guest Satisfaction:

  • Lead your team in driving sales performance, guest engagement, and service standards to create a memorable experience.
  • Monitor performance, inventory, and key metrics to ensure continuous improvement. ๐Ÿ“Š

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Manage Retail Operations:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient operation of assigned commercial areas.
  • Work with the Retail Manager to manage labor budgets, schedules, and stock levels to meet seasonal needs.
  • Keep our displays fresh and inviting—visual appeal matters! ๐ŸŽจโœจ

๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง‍๐Ÿ‘ฆ Lead & Motivate Your Team:

  • Provide mentorship, motivation, and ongoing support to your team. Be the role model who drives success and a positive, proactive, fun work environment!
  • Handle challenges on the go, with a focus on guest recovery when needed. ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ“‹ Monitor & Improve:

  • Constantly assess team performance and identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and technical operations. ๐Ÿงน๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

๐ŸŒŸ Experience & Leadership:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment or visitor attraction.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team while maintaining excellent service standards. ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ’ก

๐Ÿ’ผ Sales & Customer Service Savvy:

  • Excellent sales skills and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism. ๐Ÿ†

๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿ’ป Tech-Savvy:

  • Comfortable using computerized till systems and inventory management tools. ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ

๐Ÿ’ก Problem-Solving & Multi-Tasking:

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly convey expectations and manage performance. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ

Education & Experience:

  • High School or GED required (College degree preferred).
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail or visitor attractions.
  • Experience with inventory management and sales performance is a plus!
