This position requires candidates to have experience with resort theme park design and delivery in the areas of rides, attractions, buildings, themed environments and accommodations.

Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Senior Creative Producer – LEGOLAND Resorts for Existing Estate (Theme Parks & Accommodation) will oversee the delivery of creative concepts into vibrant guest experiences across all three LEGOLAND Resorts in North America.  Based primarily at LEGOLAND Florida Resort, plus time at the Merlin Orlando hub, the Senior Creative Producer will collaborate closely with Merlin Magic Making (MMM) teams, the LEGOLAND Brand team, LEGO Merlin Partners, and local LEGOLAND teams, to bring creative projects to life through to opening, while upholding the creative vision, brand integrity, quality, schedule, and budgetary goals.  

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Creative Direction & Project Management

  • Serve as the local Creative lead for MMM, supporting central Creative teams in bringing concepts to completion.
  • Collaborate with lead Creatives and Project Managers from design to delivery, ensuring the LEGOLAND vision is realized on-site.
  • Oversee project creative development, aligning with brand identity, timelines, and budgets.
  • Act as the primary creative contact, providing updates to MMM, LEGOLAND, and LEGO Merlin leadership.
  • Lead and mentor Creative Producers in delivering LEGOLAND projects.

Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
  • Partner with the LEGO Merlin team and local partners, ensuring brand compliance and quality.
  • Manage creative suppliers, from design experts to 3D and AV vendors, to deliver a cohesive guest experience.

Design Integrity & Quality Control

  • Provide on-site and vendor art direction to uphold creative intent and brand standards.
  • Review all design, construction, and production documents, addressing inconsistencies proactively.
  • Maintain documentation to track scopes and approvals with internal and external teams.
  • Ensure project quality aligns with brand DNA, standards, budgets, and timelines.

Operational & Budget Alignment

  • Work with Project Managers and contractors to stay within budget and schedule, proposing adjustments as needed.
  • Review contracts to ensure brand and budget compliance.
  • Approve expenses and travel per company policy.

Brand Consistency & Compliance

  • Enforce LEGOLAND brand standards across projects, ensuring compliance from all team members and suppliers.
  • Manage the LEGO brand approval process for all creative and operational elements.

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

  • Capture insights from past projects, sharing best practices across LEGOLAND Resorts for efficiency and innovation.
  • Contribute to process improvements to support brand consistency and enhance the guest experience.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

  • Senior Creative Experience: Minimum 10+ years in creative project management, theme park design, and art direction.
  • Resort Theme Park Expertise: Demonstrated experience across all aspects of Resort Theme Park design, including as examples; rides, shows, environment, accommodation, and theming.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Proven ability to direct a wide range of suppliers, ensuring compliance with brand and quality standards.
  • IP & Brand Compliance: Experience managing intellectual property (IP) projects, with strong adherence to brand standards.
  • Communication & Leadership: Impeccable communication skills with the ability to influence across various levels, both within local and international teams.
  • Leadership & Team Support: Ability to lead, inspire, and support teams while upholding project standards and brand values.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges, maintaining focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Self-driven with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
