About the Role

As a Shift Lead, you’ll be the heartbeat of our operation! 💓 Your main responsibilities will include serving as the Manager-on-Duty for the entire attraction, ensuring our Retail Department and Attractions run smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in developing our front-line staff to deliver world-class customer service every day—all while having a blast! 🎉 Compensation for this role is $18.75/hour.

Responsibilities

👑 Manager on Duty Duties:

• Oversee the smooth operation of all departments, including Retail, Education, Attraction, and Admissions. 🛍️
• Delegate and monitor daily assignments for front-line staff. 📋
• Lead and motivate your team to be “guest obsessed” and provide outstanding customer service. 🌟
• Uphold health and safety policies, ensuring all teams are compliant. 🛡️
• Manage queues and guest flow in the busiest areas for optimal safety and efficiency. 🎟️
• Quickly address guest issues and concerns by communicating with relevant departments. 😊

🎓 Coordinate Retail Training:

• Organize and lead training for Retail Hosts on standards, profit protection, and guest obsession. 📚
• Empower team members to provide exceptional service, including guest recovery when needed. 💪
• Evaluate performance, coach team members, and escalate as necessary. 🏆

🛠️ Support Assigned Department:

• Report into the Retail department.
• When not on duty, support your department with training, stocking, inventory controls, and employee engagement. 🙌

About You

We’re looking for candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including:

• Hospitality (Attractions, Hotels, Museums, etc.) 🏨
• Retail 🛒
• Customer Service 💬
• Child Development 👶

You should have:

• A contagious, positive, can-do attitude! 😄
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 🎓
• 1+ years of experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment. 🚀
• A guest-first mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills. ✍️
• Flexibility and adaptability, especially when implementing new operational procedures. 🔄
• The ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure. ⏳
• Open availability, especially during weekends, holidays, and school breaks. 📅
