Scope of the Job: As a Food and Beverage Shift Lead, you'll be the MVP of our attraction, making sure everything runs smoothly and our guests leave with a smile. š You’ll also be a superhero in developing our amazing front-line team, ensuring top-notch customer service every single day. š
Essential Functions:
š Manager on Duty Duties:
- Oversee the seamless operation of all departments: Admissions, Attraction, Food and Beverage, and Retail.
- Delegate tasks and keep the team on track.
- Inspire and motivate staff to be “guest-obsessed” and deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, keeping our guests and team safe. š”ļø
- Manage queues and guest flow like a pro, ensuring everything runs smoothly even during peak times.
- Tackle guest issues and concerns with a smile and effective communication. š
š Coordinate Training:
- Organize and lead training sessions for front-line Hosts in areas like ride safety, food safety, profit protection, and retail standards. š
- Empower team members to provide exceptional customer service and handle guest recovery as needed.
- Evaluate performance, coach, and provide feedback to help everyone shine. š
š“ Support Food and Beverage:
- When not on duty, dive into supporting your department with training, stocking, inventory controls, employee engagement, and scheduling.
- Embrace other tasks as needed with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. š
Health & Safety:
- Ensure your safety, your colleagues', and our guests' by following safe work procedures. š ļø Report any incidents and assist with investigations as necessary.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred. š
- Previous customer service and guest interaction experience is a must. š¬
- A passion for entertaining children and families is key. š
- Ability to train others and lead with a fun, expert, and outgoing approach. š¦øāļøš¦øāļø
- Excellent communication and motivational skills are essential. š£
- Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. š
Work Environment:
- Depending on your location, you’ll be working both indoors and outdoors with varying temperatures and floor surfaces. š¦ļø
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work various hours to support our site operations is a must. ā°
