Scope of the Job: As a Guest Experience Shift Lead, you’ll be the superstar of our attraction, ensuring everything runs smoothly and our guests have an unforgettable experience. 🌈 You’ll also help our amazing team deliver top-notch service every day. 🌟

 

Essential Functions:

 

👑 Manager on Duty Duties:

  • Oversee the seamless operation of all departments: Admissions, Attraction, Café, and Retail. 🏰🍔🛍️
  • Delegate tasks and keep the team on track. 📋
  • Lead and inspire staff to be “guest obsessed” and deliver exceptional service. 🌟
  • Ensure all health and safety policies are followed and teams are compliant. 🛡️
  • Manage queues and guest flow, especially in the busiest areas, to keep everything running smoothly. 🎟️
  • Quickly address guest issues and concerns by coordinating with relevant departments. 😊

🎓 Coordinate Training of Front-Line Hosts:

  • Organize and lead training sessions in ride safety, food safety, profit protection, and retail standards. 📚
  • Empower team members to deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest recovery as needed. 💪
  • Evaluate performance, provide coaching, and escalate issues as necessary. 🏆

🎡 Support Guest Experience/Attraction:

  • When not managing, dive into supporting your department with training, stocking, inventory controls, employee engagement, and scheduling. 🛠️
  • Embrace other tasks with a positive attitude and flexibility. 🙌

Health & Safety:

  • Ensure your safety, your colleagues', and guests' by following safe work procedures. 🚨 Report any incidents and assist with investigations as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred. 🎓
  • Previous customer service experience and a passion for engaging with children and families is a must. 💬🎠
  • Ability to train and lead a team with a fun, outgoing approach. 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills required. 📣
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and be open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays. 🕒

Work Environment:

  • Work indoors or outdoors with varying temperatures and floor surfaces depending on location. 🌦️

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, to support site operations. ⏰
