As an HRIS Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee UKG Releases: Lead the implementation and maintenance of UKG releases, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
  • Conduct UAT Processes: Perform thorough user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system updates meet organizational standards.
  • Data Quality Audits: Conduct regular data quality audits to enhance the integrity of UKGPro and UKGPro WFM systems.
  • Manage Data Integrations: Oversee third-party data integrations, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
  • Data Reporting: Serve as the primary contact for ad hoc data requests from UKGPro and UKGPro WFM, crafting insightful reports to enhance Merlin's People Data analysis.
  • Optimize HRIS Software: Continuously optimize HRIS software to enhance overall organizational efficiency and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Complex Ticket Management: Effectively manage complex HRIS tickets to achieve timely resolutions and uphold high user satisfaction and system reliability standards.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for HR systems, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • HRIS Enhancements: Prioritize and implement enhancements to HRIS functionality that support better data integrity.
  • Third-Party Interfaces: Maintain third-party interfaces in HR Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure smooth operation and data integrity.
  • Error Monitoring: Monitor interfaces for any errors or discrepancies. Use monitoring tools to detect issues promptly.
  • Data Security: Enhance UKGPro & UKGPro WFM security measures to protect sensitive HR data from unauthorized access or breaches.
  • System Upgrades: Implement and promptly test system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Documentation and Results: Provide functional and technical system support in all areas of the UKGPro and UKGPro WFM systems.

System Configuration and Customization

  • HRIS Configuration: Configure and customize the HRIS to align with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This includes setting up workflows, data fields, security profiles, and integration with other systems.
  • Reporting: Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Data Integrity: Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Interface Management: Create and maintain interfaces, provide knowledge on system administration responsibilities, including security access, workflow, and system configuration.
  • Data Security and Accuracy: Enhance and maintain the security, accuracy, and integrity of our HR data.
  • Issue Diagnosis: Diagnose and resolve HR data issues from end users, business process events, etc.
  • Process Improvement: Work with internal teams to improve existing processes and data integrity.
  • Interface Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor, process, and troubleshoot data interfaces to/from the HRIS system of record and multiple other systems and vendors.
  • Support Technical Projects: Support HRIS updates, upgrades, testing, UKG releases implementation, and other technical projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Skills & Experience Required

 

Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Human Resource Management, Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
  • HRIS Experience: Seven (7) years of HRIS experience, including two (2) years of UKGPro WFM experience. This includes System Maintenance, Data Analysis, HRIS ticketing system, Resolving HR Data Quality/Data Integrity Issues, and Maintaining HRIS Security Roles.

Required Qualifications

  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Recognize recurring issues or potential opportunities, analyze relevant data, and propose actionable resolutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • HRIS Enhancements: Develop and implement enhancements to HRIS functionality to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Issue Identification: Identify when an issue (or opportunity) may be an indicator of a recurring problem (or needed solution) others may experience, then analyze data to develop a recommended resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and other departments to understand their HRIS requirements, providing informed recommendations and support to optimize HR processes.

HRIS Support/Data Analysis/Other Skills

  • Performance Metrics Evaluation: Evaluate HRIS performance metrics to identify trends and resolve application issues effectively.
  • Technical Support and Training: Manage application upgrades, provide technical support, and deliver team training to ensure proficient use of HRIS tools.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Process Streamlining: Streamline HRIS processes, integrate new software solutions, and conduct diagnostic tests to improve system functionality.

Additional Skills

  • HR Data Analysis and Technology Support: Demonstrated ability in the support and administration of HR data analysis, HRIS, and HR technology.
  • HRIS Expertise: Strong experience/expertise supporting HRIS (preferred UKG) as an HRIS Supervisor.
  • Issue Identification and Solution Proposals: Strong ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and consult with stakeholders to achieve strategic HR goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail with the ability to audit (and correct if necessary) large amounts of data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures.
  • Information Security: Ability to keep information confidential and secure, with an understanding of information security standards.
  • Proactive Efficiency Improvements: Proactively seeks efficiency improvements and demonstrates strategic problem-solving abilities to anticipate and resolve challenges.
