Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all areas of the attraction’s equipment and machinery, including HVAC, electrical, electronic, and plumbing systems.
Perform proactive maintenance and safety checks, including ladders, tools, and general building integrity.
Handle day-to-day repairs, including painting, drywall, lighting, AV, and general facility upkeep.
Conduct both planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance the guest experience.
Support exhibit setup and takedown, ensuring all displays and technical elements are safe and functional.
Operate power tools and equipment safely while following OSHA guidelines and PPE best practices.
Monitor building systems, identifying and correcting any hazards or maintenance needs.
Collaborate with vendors and other technicians to complete larger maintenance projects efficiently.
Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
π High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification preferred.
π§ Minimum of two years of hands-on maintenance experience, ideally across carpentry, plumbing, painting, or general facilities repair.
ποΈ Experience in large-scale environments such as schools, apartment complexes, or attractions strongly preferred.
π‘ Basic understanding of health and safety standards, with OSHA and scissor lift certifications a plus.
πͺ Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
π οΈ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and repair needs.
