We’re on the lookout for an energetic, guest-obsessed, fun-loving Retail Shift Lead to help create magical experiences for families from all over the region! As a Retail Shift Lead, you’ll help guide the day-to-day retail operations of our awesome attraction. You’ll step in as the Supervisor on Duty, lead and inspire our team, jump into host positions when needed, and help develop our front-line crew to deliver world-class service — all while keeping things safe, smooth, and super fun! ๐๐
• Act as Supervisor on Duty, keeping Admissions, Attractions, Food & Beverage, and Retail running like a well-oiled (and very fun) machine ๐
• Delegate daily tasks and keep our front-line staff engaged, informed, and smiling ๐
• Motivate the team to be “guest obsessed” and deliver magical LEGO®-tastic service โจ
• Ensure all health & safety policies are followed — safety first! ๐ฆบ
• Manage queues and guest flow during peak times for a smooth, stress-free experience ๐ข
• Communicate with other departments to quickly resolve guest questions or concerns ๐ฃ๏ธ
• Lead training for Hosts in areas like ride safety, food safety, profit protection, and retail excellence ๐
• Empower team members to deliver exceptional service — including guest recovery when needed ๐
• Evaluate and coach team members to help them grow ๐ฑ
• When not duty managing, support your department with training, stocking, inventory, engagement, scheduling, and more ๐๏ธ
• Perform other fun and necessary tasks that come with being an awesome leader ๐ก
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of experience in attractions, entertainment, hospitality, or any guest-focused role ๐
• Customer service skills that shine bright โจ
• Experience working with families and kids — and loving it! ๐ถ๐
• Ability to train and motivate others with a fun, outgoing, energetic approach ๐ฌโก
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Must be able to obtain any required certifications needed to safely and successfully perform this role.
• Occasional local travel may be required.

• May work in loud environments or areas with varying temperatures
• Work may occur indoors or outdoors
• Exposure to heat, cold, damp conditions, or loud sounds
• Transitioning between light levels throughout the day
• Lift or carry items up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
