• 🧑‍💼 Lead and support Aquarist team members in daily husbandry tasks.

• 📋 Keep detailed logs on health treatments, exhibit maintenance, and feeding.

• 💧 Support and supervise water-quality testing for all exhibits.

• 🤿 Dive into exhibits for maintenance, cleaning, and feeding sessions.

• 🐟 Handle daily feeds, animal observations, and behavior tracking.

• ⚙️ Operate and maintain Life Support Systems (LSS) to uphold top welfare standards.

• 🐾 Assist the Curator with policy-aligned improvements and annual planning.

• 🎓 Train and mentor junior team members in husbandry, water chemistry, and LSS.

• 🌍 Uphold ethical sourcing practices and support SEA LIFE conservation initiatives.

• 🕒 Be ready for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts as part of the adventure!

About You

• 🎓 Degree in Life Sciences (or aquarium science certification) + 3 years’ aquarium experience.

• 🦈 Hands-on expertise with elasmobranchs, fish, reptiles & inverts, plus solid pathogen ID and treatment skills.

• 🤿 Rescue diver cert ability + preferred AED/CPR/First Aid/O₂ readiness.

• ⚙️ Advanced Life Support Systems (LSS) knowledge and strong problem-solving chops.

• 🧠 Organized, detail-driven multitasker who adapts quickly and works well with all teams.

• 📚 Familiar with AZA standards and committed to high welfare and professional best practices.
