Our Maintenance Technician plays an important role in keeping our attraction running safely and smoothly each day. From fixing lighting to touching up paint or helping with plumbing needs, this hands-on role is great for someone who enjoys variety and likes solving everyday challenges.

No two days look the same — you might start by repairing a small leak, then move on to refreshing a guest area, or completing routine safety checks on our attractions. ✨ 

Key Responsibilities:

• ✨ Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

• ✨ Perform proactive maintenance and safety checks, ensuring ladders, tools, and building systems are safe and operational.

• ✨ Install and fix outlets (including GFCI) and support basic network/Wi-Fi needs.

• ✨ Tackle day-to-day repairs such as painting, drywall, lighting, AV, and general facility upkeep.

• ✨ Conduct both planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance the guest experience.

• ✨ Support exhibit setup and takedown, making sure all displays and technical elements are safe and fully functional.

• ✨ Operate power tools and equipment safely, following OSHA guidelines and PPE best practices.

• ✨ Monitor building systems, identify hazards, and take action to keep operations safe and efficient.

• ✨ Collaborate with vendors and other technicians on larger maintenance projects.

• ✨ Assist with special projects and other duties as needed to support the team and attraction.

Education & Experience:

• 🎓 High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification preferred.

• 🔧 Hands-on maintenance experience, ideally across carpentry, plumbing, painting, or general facilities repair.

• 🏗️ Experience in large-scale environments such as schools, apartment complexes, or attractions preferred.

• 💡 Basic understanding of health and safety standards.

• 💪 Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• 🛠️ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and repair needs.
