What you'll bring to the team

The Facilities Technician is the heartbeat of our attraction’s behind-the-scenes magic, keeping everything running smoothly, safely, and efficiently! 🎢  From repairing lighting systems to touching up paint and tackling plumbing issues, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in solving problems hands-on.

No two days are the same; you might be fixing a leaky pipe in the morning, repairing a guest area in the afternoon, or conducting safety checks to ensure our attractions remain in top shape. With two very different buildings to maintain, one focused on aquatic life and the other on an interactive, high-energy guest experience, every day brings new challenges and plenty of opportunities to show off your skills. ✨

  • Support exhibit setup and takedown, ensuring all displays and technical elements are safe and functional.

  • Operate power tools and equipment safely while following OSHA guidelines and PPE best practices.

  • Monitor building systems, identifying and correcting any hazards or maintenance needs.

  • Collaborate with vendors and other technicians to complete larger maintenance projects efficiently.

  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
