The Schools and Group Sales Coordinator is the ultimate planner and host for our visiting schools and groups, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and unforgettable experience from start to finish! You’ll handle all aspects of the group reservation process — from sharing information with potential visitors, coordinating bookings, and managing details before arrival to greeting groups with a warm welcome at the attraction.

 

In this role, you’ll also provide essential administrative support to the attraction, helping the team stay organized, efficient, and ready to deliver magical moments every day. Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, groups, and tour partners to drive bookings and revenue.
• Manage all aspects of the group reservation process from inquiry to post-visit follow-up, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Coordinate group arrivals and onsite logistics to create organized, efficient, and memorable visits.
• Track and report bookings, revenue, and event activity accurately and on time.
• Identify new business opportunities and support marketing and sales initiatives to grow group visitation.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and familiarization tours.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and service delivery.
• Provide administrative support, including recruitment assistance, scheduling, supply management, and office organization.
• Demonstrate excellent phone and email etiquette while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the attraction.

Education and Experience:

🎓 High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
💼 Minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in group sales, tourism, or an inbound call center.
📞 Strong phone and email etiquette with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
🧭 Organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
💻 Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable managing data and creating reports.
🌟 Positive attitude with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences and driving business growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
