You will provide hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder leadership, guiding the team to deliver world-class service while keeping operations running efficiently.
You will also serve Duty Manager shifts on the floor, overseeing daily operations across all departments, setting the standard for health and safety, and providing on-the-spot guidance to ensure the magic never stops for guests and team members alike. ✨
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example on the floor, setting the standard for excellence in assigned commercial areas.
Inspire the Retail Team to deliver world-class, guest-obsessed experiences while meeting or exceeding KPIs and Mystery Visit targets.
Support the training, development, and onboarding of team members for safe, efficient, and effective operations.
Assist the Retail Manager with labor schedules, merchandising, inventory control, and operational planning.
Maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness, safety, and technical operation.
Serve as Duty Manager when required, confidently performing all roles in assigned areas.
Provide continuous mentorship, motivation, and real-time feedback to the Retail Team.
Handle operational challenges, including guest complaints, staffing coverage, and incentive programs to boost performance and teamwork.
Monitor visual appeal and effectiveness of all areas, making improvement recommendations to the GM.
Track and report key metrics, inventory levels, dwell time, and KPIs to support operational decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HR guidance, and standard operating procedures, including stock take, inventory management, and record-keeping.
Foster a positive team culture, encouraging ideas, innovation, and demonstration of Merlin Values.
Lead daily shift briefings alongside the attraction Leadership Team.
Perform other duties as assigned to keep operations running smoothly and guests delighted.
