ROLE SUMMARY:
The Commercial Specialist is responsible for driving brand visibility and revenue growth through proactive sales outreach and on-site program planning and execution. This role reports directly to the Senior Commercial Manager, with a dotted-line to the Schools & Groups Marketing team, and is accountable for delivering against set S&G targets.
Sales & Relationship Development
Drive new business through proactive outreach to schools, daycares, and community groups.
Build and nurture long-term partnerships that foster repeat engagement.
Identify trends and tailor sales strategies to meet evolving market needs.
Represent the resort at trade shows, educational events, and familiarization tours.
Event Planning & Program Execution
Design and deliver engaging youth and education programs that reflect our brand values.
Coordinate logistics, schedules, and team collaboration to ensure seamless execution.
Partner with internal teams to create specialized group packages and marketing materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between marketing, operations, and guest services to ensure alignment.
Share insights and feedback to continually enhance sales processes and guest experiences.
Support operational planning and on-site execution of school and group visits.
Guest Experience & Safety
Champion exceptional guest experiences through personalized service and attention to detail.
Monitor feedback and implement continuous improvements.
Uphold all health, safety, and compliance standards, reporting risks or incidents promptly.
3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within education, tourism, or entertainment.
Strong understanding of youth programs, schools, and community engagement.
Proven success in driving revenue growth, managing group contracts, and executing events.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Adept at working collaboratively across diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for creating memorable guest experiences that combine learning and fun.
