Qualifications & Experience

βš™οΈ What You’ll Do (aka: How You’ll Keep the Magic Running)

As the Lead Technician, you’ll play a vital role in making sure everything at the attraction runs smoothly, safely, and spectacularly. You’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring our rides, cinema, equipment, and special effects are always at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • πŸ›‘οΈ Ensure the safety of all team members and guests.

  • πŸ’‘ Maintain and operate theatrical lighting systems, audio & video systems.

  • 🧰 Troubleshoot like a pro — solving problems quickly and creatively.

  • πŸ“ Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics & blueprints.

  • πŸ—£οΈ Communicate clearly, lead confidently, and stay organized.

  • πŸ”‘ Oversee opening, operating, and closing procedures.

🧯 Health & Safety:

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll follow all procedures, use tools and equipment only if trained, and report any incidents promptly.

πŸ“ All new hires must obtain an F03 Fireguard License (don’t worry — we provide the training and cover the cost for the exam!).

πŸŽ“ What You Bring:

  • 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in a technical/themed environment.

  • 2 years of technical college or equivalent experience.

  • A self-starter mindset with strong maintenance & troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with a wide range of equipment, including rides and special effects.

  • Calm under pressure with top-tier service skills.

🌑️ Work Environment:

  • Work inside or outside in various temperatures.

  • Occasionally exposed to chemicals, hazardous waste, loud environments, and specialized equipment.

  • This is a hands-on role with standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching required.
